I’m having all the feels as the colors and pieces flow together on the board. I’ve expressed in my last blog post that I really wanted an oasis and how the colors and vibe of the sunset was going to be a major inspiration for the overall theme of the space. So since I am my own client I’ve taken the next step in creating the mood board for our space. It will also save the client and us time on revisions once the design is created since we base pieces off of the mood board approval. SPRING MOOD BOARD FULLThe reason we choose to start with a mood board first over a full on design is to make sure that we are on track with the clients design wishes. The room is selected and the inspiration is set! We are now in week three of the One Room Challenge and I am so excited to have you all get a sneak peek into my mood boards! In Phase 2 of our design development process we occasionally present a mood board to the client with design styles and pieces that we believe fit their taste based on their questionnaire. ![]()
